Linda Dagenais

Linda graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1992, and has been working in the field of physiotherapy since graduation. Linda is fluent in both English and French.

Her duties as Clinical Director of Rehab Plus involve overall management of rehabilitation services, training and supervision of staff physiotherapists, assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and development of rehabilitation programs. She performs Functional Capacity Evaluations, including physiotherapy assessment and pre and post functional testing, review of results with client and report preparation in conjunction with Kinesiologists.

Linda has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 1992, the Ontario Physiotherapy Association since 1992 and the Isernhagen Work Systems since 1996. Linda continuously hones her skills as a physiotherapist by regularly completing courses in her field including Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy Certification, Lumbar Stabilization, Neurodynamics, Medical Exercise Therapy (cervical/thoracic/lumbar/spine), Neural Tissue Tension and more.


Robin graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor or Science in Physiotherapy in 1998 and has been working at Rehab Plus since then. Robin is fluent in both English and French.

His position with Rehab Plus deals with assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and development of rehabilitation programs for our clients. He performs Functional Capacity Evaluations testing including physiotherapy assessment and pre and post functional testing, review of results with client and report preparation in conjunction with Kinesiologists.

Robin is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, the Ontario Physiotherapy Association and Isernhagen Work Systems. In addition to his degree, Robin has also completed: Functional Capacity Evaluation Certification, 2001, E1 V1 Manual Therapy, V2 V3 Lumbo-sacral manual therapy, McKenzie Part A, V2V3 cervical manual therapy and E2 E3 upper extremity manual therapy.

Stephanie graduated from Collège Boréal in Sudbury in 2005 with a diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant. She is a certified Physiotherapist Assistant. She started working at Rehab Plus in December of 2005.

She also does to Extended Care to help the elderly with their range of motion and their mobility. At Rehab Plus she demonstrates to patients how to do their exercises, also does some modalities such as ultrasounds, TENS, hot and cold packs. She is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. She is always around educating members and helping them the best way she can.

Becky Millson

Becky graduated in April, 2006 from Brock University with a degree in Kinesiology.

Raised in Timmins, she swam with the Timmins Marlins Swim Club for seven years as well as ran for the high school cross country team and track and field for two years. Becky has had several experience coaching young swimmers. During her four years of University, Becky swam with the Brock Badgers Varsity Swim Team where she also had the opportunity to help run both high school and Masters swim meets. Becky has also been involved in health promotion within the community and organized a Fitness Walking Challenge during the summer of 2005 which targeted local businesses.

Becky is certified as a Fitness Consultant, Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor.



Karin obtained an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, a masters of Science Degree in Human Development, and most recently a diploma in massage therapy. She is also a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. As well as working here at Rehab Plus as the Health Programs Coordinator she operates a part-time massage clinic in South Porcupine. She is enjoying the opportunity to help cardiac patients and members reach their health goals.

Adrienne Crosby

Adrienne was born and raised in the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree in 2004 from Acadia University. After graduating, Adrienne moved to Northwestern Ontario and worked in a small health center as a rehabilitation assistant. She traveled to different communicates in the North helping provide Physiotherapy services. She started working at Rehab Plus in August 2009 as a Certified Kinesiologist.


Candice completed an Honours BSc degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. She then movaed to Asia where where she worked and traveled for 3 years before returning to Toronto to study Physiotherapy. Candice graduated from the MSc. PT program at the University of Toronto in November 2006.

Candice is currently a physiotherapist at Rehab Plus where she is involved in the assessment and management of clients with neuro-musculoskeletal disorders. Candice will also be involved in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program soon to be implemented at Rehab Plus.

Candice is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Ontario College of Physiotherapist. She is also interested in pursuing further accreditation in acupuncture and manual therapy.

Corey Thauvette

Corey is a 21-year-old male who just recently graduated from a French 2 year Health Promotion Program. He is bilingual, outgoing, and most certainly willing to learn. While attending college he completed over 80 hours of volunteer time demonstrating exercises for physiotherapy patients thus gaining experience and furthering his knowledge.

He has certifications in personal training and fitness evaluation and always willing to further his education. His experience working with all age groups helped him discover new and different exercises to offer to clients.

On his own time, Corey enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and hanging out with his friends. He looks forward to working with you while promoting a healthy lifestyle and helping clients achieve their goals with some much-needed motivation.


Kevin graduated from TH&VS in June 2005. Certified Personal Trainer with Can-Fit-Pro in September 2006. Kevin has been involved in physical fitness for the past 5 years, both with martial arts and weightlifting. In 5 years he has learned how to properly train from being taught by individuals with decades of experience as well as learning from his own mistakes. Kevin is proficient with stretching to help his clients become more flexible, recuperate faster and prevent injuries. With his martial arts background, he is able to bring fitness training to a whole new level for those looking to challenge themselves. Kevin is more than capable to take training from in the gym to outside, at home or anywhere else that may best benefit his clients.

Melanie Savard

Melanie is a graduate of Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario where she received her diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. She is currently certified as a Fitness Consultant and Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Also, she is currently working on her Exercise Specialist Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Throughout her career she has had ample opportunity to work with different professionals in the health field; Athletic Therapist, College/University Professors, Physiotherapist, Dieticians, Kinesiologist, PFLCs (Professional Fitness and Lifestyle Consultants), Doctors and Varsity Coaches with who she has received and is still acquiring knowledge through these specialists. In addition, she continues to thrive for knowledge and gather information everyday.

Melanie’s position here at Rehab Plus is in physiotherapy where she designs, monitors, and progress patients programs. There patients may seek physiotherapy help because of a Motor Vehicle Accident, CVD, Work related injuries, Industrial, return to work etc… Melanie also develops general fitness programs for our clients, Fitness Assessments and Personal Training.


Tonya Anderson

Tonya has been a Certified Fitness Instructor with Can Fit Pro since 1998. She also has a degree in Business Administration.

Tonya’s position with Rehab Plus is teaching a variety of fitness and aerobic classes, including: Step Circuit, Fatburner, Body Blast, Sculpt, Shape and many more.

Maria graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics. After graduating she spent some time traveling through Europe and Australia. Maria has worked with a variety of sports teams assessing and taping sports injuries as well as in a bracing clinic where she fit braces for all injury types. She has worked with the Special Olympics here in Timmins as well as in Ottawa. Maria is passionate about volunteering for fundraisers that aim to raise awareness and funds for health related issues.

Here at Rehab Plus she is a membership coordinator as well as a fitness consultant and personal trainer. She is open to any suggestions to better our facility and is available for assistance at any time. Please don’t be shy to ask!

Annie graduated from College Boreal’s Office Administration course back in 2002. Then worked at A.C.F.O Timmins for a little while, she therefore decided to go back to College Boreal to take Educational Assistant back in 2003. Annie worked at Ecole Secondaire Publique Renaissance and Lionel Gauthier. During the summer of 2006, Annie started to work at the radio station The Moose and CHYCK FM as receptionist/secretary and traffic relief where she stayed for 2 years. Then she moved to Peterborough Ontario for a year and worked in a daycare for 6 months and came back to her Timmins roots.

Lisa is a certified Personal Trainer with Can-Fit-Pro, as well as the Office Coordinator at Rehab Plus. 2008 brought many athletic accomplishments to Lisa. She competed in her first triathlon as well as a gruelling 10km race in Mississauga Ontario. When Lisa is not training for her next athletic challenge, she enjoys outdoor activities. Feel free to approach Lisa at anytime with your fitness challenges, she is always willing to help fellow fitness gurus.

Julie graduated from Northern College with an Office Administration diploma she also received a diploma in Tourism Management from College Boreal. Julie is certified in canoe tripping and enjoys all outdoor activities. She also participates in Hip Hop dancing at Melissa Kelly Dance Academy.

Natalie-Ann graduated in April of 2007 from Cambrian College with a diploma in Graphic Design.

Her position at Rehab Plus is Reception/Membership Coordinator. She can also assists with Physiotherapy including booking appointments and taking payments. She is also able to answer any questions you may have regarding your membership or what our gym facility has to offer.

Natalie-Ann is bilingual and very approachable.
